Cricket Noises

Aside from my car stalling in idle all the time, my car has now make cricket noises when i touch the gas. It's not terribly loud but I hate the noise and I don't know what it is. Any help?

Steve

Check all the belt adjustments..I would bet one is loose.

My guess is the P/S belt....they are a bugger to get tight correctly.

note to self.... get serpentine belt system in the near future.

I had to reuse my old v6 ps pump on my 84.

had to get creative in shimming that s.o.b. out so it would line up with my pulleys.
