Hey thanks, Thats a great site, and i bookmarked it so i can find it again later, but the engine i'm looking for is an oldsmobile engine, not a chevy engine, so it isn't listed. Does anyone know what engine this is or a place like the above website except for oldsmobile engines?
thanks alot

Are you sure the 2 is suppose to be there at the end? There is an Oldsmobile 350 with a casting number 395558. Engine was used in 68-70. Or maybe the 2 references the second run of the block cause they also used them in 73-74.

Do you know if it has the stock heads? Look for casting number of 397742 ('68-'69), 403859 ('70), 411929 (73-74). The 397742 heads seem to be favored over the others.

check out www.442.com for more info. They would be the experts.
