Which GM cars come with all aluminum v-6s?

Me and LottaBalls are wanting to put an all aluminum V-6 into a 88 Fiero, but I wasn't sure what car to take it out of. I think the Taurus SHO has one, but there is no way I'm putting a Ford engine in any car of mine. Does anyone know which, if any, GM cars came with all aluminum v-6's?

PS-if it were my choice, we'd be putting my L98 in the Fiero when we take it out of our IROC to install the 383 that we're going to build

I havent seen any aluminum GM V6's and Ive seen more V6's then I care to admit.
I do love the SHO even though its a fNord but the two SHO's Ive worked on were just a standard cast block with an UNGodly aluminum top end.

A Buick turbo/SC engine would be a nice addition to any Fierro.

The northstars are like 60* engines, right? It would fit in there better than my L98.

Why do ya guys wanna put them slow *** v-8's into them cars... Ya should put in a Buick 3.8 Turbo engine. That car would smoke most cars.

I'm almost sure the northstar is 60*. There is a guy that specializes in these swaps, he posts on fiero.nl but he does mostly v8 swaps and a V6 swap isnt that big of a deal. Isnt the new ECOTEC 4cyl alluminum?

Its not 60*. Look at the pic. It does however share the 60* bolt pattern since its a FWD engine.

I've got a Cadillac 4.9 (not a Northstar, it's a 91 model) that my wife drives, seems to me it's a 90° V8. Runs pretty good actually, it would dust my late little brother's 87 Monte Carlo SS. But it has some other bolt pattern I don't recognize, which isn't saying much because I don't involve myself with FWD or 6-cylinder cars if I can help it...

I think one of those would be about right for a Fiero, if it's not too much trouble to jam in there.

Almost any engine with a power adder will smoke a NA car.
