Is it supposed to idle like this?

I just had an LT1 cam installed in my 1992 RS(tbi engine) and now when I start the car it jumps to 1500 rpms, then goes to about 400 and slowly rises to 700. It seems like it will stall but never does.Is this normal or do I need to adjust the timing or fuel pressure?
also, when I let off the gas doing between 10-90kmh, the car barely slows down at all. It takes like 20 seconds for it to drop 10km, But when I let off the gas from 100-130kmh, it slows down very quickly, any idea why?

the start-up thing is pretty normal i believe and the mph thing is probably because there is more wind at higher speeds that force the car to slow down faster than at a lower speed. either way these problems arent very big so i wouldnt worry to much, at least the car starts unlike mine today

Did you change the ECM EPROM when the cam was changed? Since your '92 has a speed/density system, the ECM presumes some load information based on the TPS and MAP sensors. Since the MAP input is probably higher (lower vacuum) with the LT1 cam, the ECM presumes greater engine load than actually exists. This will cause an enrichment of the mixture, general ECM confusion compared to the base tables, and the type of issues you are describing.

It may be time to burn a PROM or two.
