intake gaskets??

hey guys i was lookin in my summit and i saw the intake manifold gaskets and they all came with gaskets that go along the block wall in the front and rear of the manifold, well do u have to have them?? i thought u just used that rtv silicon stuff for it?? thanks guys

Gasket maker is fine. Just make sure its labeled "Sensor Safe"

i use the china wall gaskets if i have the engine on a stand, if it's in the car i use ultra gray or ultra copper.
