I've just poked a pretty decent jole in my hose running coolant to the engine... I was wondering if it's at all possible to drive it like this... I mean, it's my only car for now, and I need another hose... Is it possible to drive to the parts store to get a new one... would I just have to fill up the coolant resevior every few minutes?

I feel pretty stupid....

 

guess the big question is how far's the parts store. i'd call a friend or bum a ride. take a cell phone with you, watch the temp guage, and carry several gallos of water along.

 

I agree. Or even wrap some duct tape around for added protection if you have to drive it. Duct tape will fix anything. Actually not sure how much that would help, but I would think better than a hole being there.

 

Yeah, unfortunately, I have no Duct tape, no gallon jugs and no cell phone... So I guess I'm sticking this one out here.... I called somebody to give me a ride...

What ticks my griddle... Is I was trying to pop back on the Serpentine belt... I hate that thing... it's the 4th time it's popped off, and this is a new belt too...

Well, I guess I'll wait til they get here...
