is there a reason the drivers side fan is primary??
I did some thinking today
.. and thought that since my tranny cooler is on the passenger side, and the lines DO NOT run through the radiator, and the primary fan is on the drivers side, that when im sitting at a stop light, with the engine temp at about 190-200. there is no air flowing through the tranny cooler. and its being worse then the factory cooler, as NO cooling is happening at all. So i did a little electrical work, and redid the wire coming from the relays to the fans, so that the primary relay now kicks on the passenger side fan first.. and now the drivers side fan is the secondary.. so there is always air flowing through the tranny cooler.. and i also ran a switch to the green\white wire that is switched to ground to turn the secondary fan on to a rocker switch which seems ALOT easier then finding the sensor for the secondary fan, which i don't think i have, (i didn't find it on the passenger side head).
but im wondering if there was a reason the drivers side fan is the primary, like does it flow more CFM or anything. also, i recomend connecting ur fan switch to the switched ground instead of the temp sensor.. especialy if u can't find it..

Ya, you better switch the fans back.
The tranny cooler might be on that side to keep it cooler, if it was on the drivers side, the radiator would heat it up.
Get a tranny temp gauge if you don't already have one and wire up the secondary fan to a toggle switch so you can turn it on if your tranny temp gets too hot.

im talking about an aftermarket tranny cooler.. B&M.. if i was running the stock cooler, i wouldnt worry about it, since the tranny fluid would be running through the radiator, and the coolant moving in the radiator. while now, there is no air at all moving past the tranny cooler. So far the car runs just as cool as it did before, which it should since both fans are the same. but i am keeping a close eye of the guage.. also i did hook up a manual fan switch tonight, i love it.
