i was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice on a problem....i start my car and it fires and everything is good and then it suddenly stalls and dies....what is this about?

i brought it to a garage and they checked it out and 4 days later they replaced the mass air flow sensor because that was supposedly the problem....it ran fine last night driving to and from work but this morning...i go out to start it and....exactly the same problem...needless to say im pissed off...i want to do all the work on my car myself but i have no knowledge or experience....thanks for the info
