Hows this setup??
I got an email from the previous owner and this is what he said about the setup of the car:
350 L98 with
wolverine camshaft, timing chain and gears, the block has been decked, bored 30 over, the crank is ground 10 under. I uped the injectors from 19 Lb to 24 lb, The fuel pump I just put in pumps 277lph (stock is around 165lph), the 305 chip was uped to the 350 chip. With 2.73 rearend. The crate motor was rated at 275 horse with a carb. With a fuel injection your closer to 290. Ive done a few free modds too.
well what does everyone think?!?!?!?! all comments are welcome.

275 HP with carb = 230 HP with TPI
If the car has no headers and a typical non-TPI-specific cam, it's less than that. it sounds like it's a flat-tappet motor instead of the roller it came with, which is a further downgrade. It has the typical terrible 350 TPI gears which makes it expensive to upgrade (it needs a carrier as well as gears). A stock 350 chip with 24# injectors is a recipe for running very rich at WOT, not a good combo. Higher fuel pump flow is unnecessary, but having a new fuel pump is a good thing regardless, as you will find out if you ever have to change one. You don't say much about the rest of the car, like options, overall condition, etc.; IMHO the motor specs don't make me feel very fuzzy at all, but if it's a nice car, then maybe you have something to work with.
What's your question?
