i'm looking for and electronic spark control for my 87 gta. i want to replace the knock module cause i think it's backing off the timing. if anyone knows anything at all about the esc please tell. any leads on where to get one would be greatly appreciated.

 

I've been having the same problem. My car throws a code 43 (ESC) and it wants to die. I've replaced the knock sensor and the ignition modual, no change. I don't get it?

Actually i'm looking for a rebuilt or worked on esc. it's a special kind i saw on the internet once and now cant find it anymore. my enigne is kinda noisy so the knock module slows the timimg down to quiet it. but this new esc is special made to replace the knock module to where it wont back the timing of no matter how loud it is. that is the peice i am looking for so if you know where i might be able to look and search for this advanced part please post or email me at jacobgta@hotmail.com. my bad not rebuilt or worked on. i was at a loss of words. what i ment was a modified esc and i saw a comercial site that had them but i can't for the life of me remember where. any help??

 

i have the same sort of problem..let me know if you find that site, i might wanna get one of those for my car..
