Is that a custom eprom or just some crap like a Hypetech, Jet or ADS?
Cams by themselves don't do much on TPI engines. You really need to address the intake, heads and eprom before you even sniff at the cam. I've seen enough guys who've added cams etc, and NEVER realized the true potential of the modification until they modified the TPI intake (the biggest strangler of your motor), followed by the heads.
When GM produced these cars, they made an engine where the intake, heads and cam were closely matched to each other and unless you do all three (and and eprom), it just doesn't perform well.
PS: How do you plan to install the cam? If you plan to just "pry" the oil pan so you can pull the timing cover off, be prepared for an "oil leaker". The best way to do it TO AVOID oil leaks is by either pulling the engine or raising it so you drop the oil pan.
