i just dont want to put my valve train in a bind, i also saw in an issue of CHP they put 1.6 rockers on a 383 and lost like 40 hp or something like that, i couldnt imagine losing that much power

i reads that article and they lost 30 horse due to the pushrod rubbing on the head so bad it wasn't lettin the lifter pump up. they got the most performance out of 1.5 full rocker rockers. stock are said to be 1.5 but are really around 1.43. i am going to go with the 1.5's and i suggest u do the same. also if u wunt 1.6's u have to put in screw in studs, get the heads machined for guideplates, buy hardend pushrods.
