I think It's Finally Going to Happen Cam Swap
OK, I've been waiting to do a cam swap for the longest time. Money has been tight, but now I have a valve cover and intake gasket leak. I don't see the point in wasting the money on 2 sets of gaskets to later change the cam. Not too mention the waste of time.
Thing is I'm going to have to stick with the stock LG4 aluminum intake. How bad will this hurt me? I thought I remember five7kid or RB83L69 saying that these were decent intakes. Sorry sometimes I get the 2 guys confused, though RB usually helps me out often.

Mark, I'm running a factory gm intake on my 305 without a lot of problems, except for the adapter making my holley too tall to fit under the hood.
I would imagine that you would want to upgrade to a good intake as soon as possible though.
or possibly take a die grinder to your ports, and clean them up a bit.
just some thoughts.

It looks to me like everything you have will work well.
But ...
What are you using for heads and headers? For that cam to reside happily in your 350, you'll want to at least get headers on there.
That extra flow wants to go some where.

I have Edelbrock Headers
, I am no longer using the ECM. The heads are 1.94/1.5 valves, by next summer I plan on having them ported.
I did have a SUMMIT brand polished intake that I got for X Mas, but I sold that to my brother as I heard it isn't the best design.

By the way Mark, the shine on your car after that Formula 113 is outstanding? Now I may try it.
