Injector Question
Quick Question:
Are the Injector's on an 1989 305 w/TPI the same Injector's on a 1989 350 w/TPI?
I was just wondering if they can be switched. If anyone knows that would be a big help.
Thanks,
Joker

No.
The ones in a 305 are 19 lbs/hr, the ones in the 350 are 22 lbs/hr.
They can be switched, and given the right circumstances it might even be the right thing to do (like putting a TPI setup that's been on a 305 onto a 350). Putting the larger injectors into a 305 without chip changes will make it run horribly rich at WOT; going the other way will make it run lean, and cannot be compemsated for by the chip since the injector will simply not flow enough fuel for the larger motor no longer how long its duty cycle is.
