Non-3rd gen related....need help w/ buick century

A friend of mine has been having problems w/ her car, an '87 Buick Century. It's been flashing the engine light and running like ****. Anyways, how do you grab the error codes from these cars?? Where is the connector and do you just jumper two terminals like our 3rdgens or is it a bit different?? Thanks!

Same as our 3rd gen, connect A & B terminals (upper far right two) and watch the flashing light, codes should be the same too but check the chilton manual.
