I think my air conditioning compressor, or at least the clutch, may be broken... when I turn on A/C, the clutch doesn't seem like it engages. When I did this in the past the belt started to jolt around a little more; nothing happens now. I took off the connector from the metal cylinder near the blower motor and jumped the two wires (green and purple, I believe) but the compressor still didn't budge. What's wrong here?

 

Nevermind, I fixed it... the power wire wasn't plugged into the compressor . That and the fact that my freon level is too low to engage the low pressure switch. Looks like I need a recharge.
