Pictures of one and two piece rear main seals?

I have a 350 block that's supposed to be from 1988, but it also has non-roller cam and lifters... Could somebody post pics of the differences between the rear main seals?

I'm pretty sure that a lot of trucks had flat tappet cams well after the change to roller in fbodies, so it could be from that year.

So, the cam and lifters that I have that would work for a pre 87 (non-roller) block should work 100% fine, right?

you can use a flat cam in a roller bolck, you just need the cam, lifters, push rods, and differant gear set and timing chain, and trash the roller cam retainer

I thought that the lifter bores in a roller block were a different size. Also, I didn't see a retainer inside the block. And everything else should be fine if I bought it for a non-roller block, right? I was originally building up my 305 LG4 with CFI heads, but I borked the crank and rods somehow and it would've cost as much to cut the crank and do the rods up as to buy this whole350 engine ($300 for a 2 bolt engine with everything 'cept waterpump, flywheel, and intake). Since one of the valves on the 350 heads seems to be stuck open, I'm gonna run the car with the CFI heads (I know, I know!!! ) for a while, redo the 350 heads, sell them, and get myself the Vortec iron heads and the matching intake. :hail:
