getting a gear drive

I know, I know some of you love em,.....some hate em. Well I've decided to get one. Ive looked and looked and I guess the only kind they make for L98 motors is the "quier" gear drive,in the $200 and under range. But its still noisy enough to hear right?

Look at my post I made there is a sound clip in it. Oh yeah,I've heard a gear drive might interfere with the knock sensor.

You have any factual proof to back that up, or are you just restating what you've heard through the rumor mill?

I have a so called quiet one on my corvette and it is plenty loud enough and no it does not mess with the knock sensor.
Not on mine anyway and it,s been in there for years.
