How to remove Balancer bolt?!?!?!

How do I remove the harmonic balancer bolt without the whole engine turning over? They say to put a screwdriver near the flexplate to stop the engine turning over... but HOW?!?! any suggestions?

Remove the inspection cover and stick a screwdriver in there, have someone hold it or take the bolt out. You could actually just hold the bolt and crank the engine over using the starter.

...or use an impact wrench to remove the bolt. Just don't install one that way.
