i need to know all the ways that the #1 coolant and the #2 coolant fan turn on. both motors work but i believe one or the other is not kicking on when needed. i have a 160 thermostat and 190 fan switch along with the thermomaster computer chip. i also have all the mods done in my sig. the problem is my car used to run at 180 most of the time and not much over that with the ac on. now it doesnt take much to get the car up over 220 and with ac on it is almost in the red. i can smell gas fumes when it does this which leads me to believe the chip thinks the car is over heating and it dumps fuel in the cylinders. so what could be causing it to run hotter.
