Mine did the same thing. Yah it is a fuse. I just had to pull each one of mine out until I found it, Cant remember what it was. I think maybe accessories. It was a 15 or a 20 amp I think. Before you replace it, replace that cigerette lighter. I replaced mine with just the little universal one from wal mart. Only 3 bucks. But I don't smoke, so I just got the univeral power jack for the radar detector and cell phone.

why don't you check the fuses good chance you blew one. might want to look into getting another lighter too so it doesn't happen again.

correct. i just looked today in daylight (since interior ones don't work) and it was the acc. fuse. it's marked for 20 amp. but there was a 25 in there. i guess that was for a reason. i'll get another 25 today. thanx guys.

Mine did the same thing.. included were power mirrors and hatch release.. and btw, putting in a bigger than recommended fuse is how fires start. If you could do that than why not just put like a 60 in each hole?

Just to let you know, I had that problem and keep having that problem. If it keeps happening over and over unhook your lighter. That was the root of my problen. To be exact just remove the lighter and leave the socket live.

And don't forget to look for a penny that's fallen into the cig lighter hole...

The coin in the hole is the first thing I thought of (since it happened to me) but Camaro lighters are on the dash and firebird lighters are in the console . So I dont know, maybe the lighter.
