Need to find rear spoiler lights

Anyone know the where to find the rear spoiler lights for my 1988 Camaro? I believe I need 4. Last I heard they run about $15 bucks a piece. If someone has a part number that would be great.

Thanks,
Denise

Welcome to the boards, newbie.

You don't really need a part number, just go to the light bulb section in any parts store or Wal-Mart. Pull your blown ones out to compare them. Yes, they'll run you about $10 each. Also, I had a few bulbs out in my light, but come to find out that they weren't making full contact with the sockets. I had to lightly bend the prongs so they touched the sockets and they all work now.

Last I heard, they were $2 each from Radio Shack.

Need(ed) to find rear spoiler lights

Found 'em! The Dealer was really cool after I told him my story and he sold em to me for $10 ea (since I needed all 4). Saved a few bucks

Dealer Part# 9441724 - GM part

He also said that GM was the only one making them. Don't know if that's true or not but ohhhh well.

$40 from the dealer vs $8 from Radio Shack. Yah, such a great deal you got.

advance has them for $6 each, bulb 891. For less than the cost of replacing them you can buy a strip of LEDs and retrofit them behind the lens instead of the bulbs and they're good forever practically.

I'm new to all this stuff....

I called Radio Shack this morning and they have em
part # 272-1177 for $2

I haven't heard about "advance" until now but I'll check that out too.

It seems that I will save $$$ more than I thought previously.

Many thanks,
Denise

Radio Shack $1.99 +tax can't beat the price. Been buying them for years after being taken by the Dealer for $15 a pop.
