serious starting problem
I need help bad. I have a 91 z28 with a 305. Ever since i bought this car 2 years ago, starting has been a problem. Sometimes it starts right away and sometime it does nothing. You turn the key and just hear a click and then keep doing it and eventually it starts. Lately it has not even been making the click. It makes a buzzing noise which sounds like its coming from near the gauges but not from the gauges. I just replaced thwe started and it did no good it still doesnt make a click. I think it might be the vats but i read that if it is the system then the security light will do something weird but it just comes on for like 2 seconds then goes out like usual. I need help and I dont know what is wrong. Thanks
I sort of had the same deal with my car... turn the key and nothing would happen.. turn it back and then try again and it would fire...
my deal was that my shifter had a loose wire... so i took apart the shifter and tightend everything up... the Neutral (wire) was loose... now it starts every time...
assuming yours is a automatic?
