My friends 89 camaro with TPI had a fuel tank leak. Dropped the tank to replace it with a new one and had to replace complete sending unit with new due to corrosion. With old pump reinstalled had 8 # fuel pressure. Replaced it with aftermarket one and got 10 # pressure. Changed it to dealer factory pump and now get 20#. Cleaned all grounds on frame, even grounded it with cable to neg Batt terminal, no change. Have full batt voltage at pump and relay even when pump it energized. Changed filter and even restricted return line, still no pressure. 3 pumps, one relay,one filter later car is a no start, Anyone have any ideas.

Sorry for this second thought. If He drops the tank again and i hook up a fuel pressure guage to output side of sending unit, how much pressure will the pump generate??
