Spark Problem
Spark Problem
ok,
I can time my car at 6 degrees advanced with the est wire unplugged (in bypass mode). Then the the car will run okay, but a little rough. If i then start the car with the est wire plugged in it will hardly run, i have to keep it running with the gas pedal. I can get it to run a little better if i advance the timing to about 17 degrees, however it still runs pretty bad it spits and sputters and is back firing.
The fuel system is good. i think the spark is good. The rotor, cap, wires, plugs, and ignition module are all nearly new (under 4,000 miles). Please help i haven't had my car running since 4 days out of storage this spring!
Thanks in advance,
jake
