Is the coil bad ? Is the distributer bad ? whats going on ?

Okay so im trying to fire up my new engine, ive got great spark comming right out of the coil, nice and blue, but down at the plugs the spark is really friggin weak. The distributer has a new ignition module, new cap, rotor button, wires, and plugs, does this mean the coil is gone since i dont get much spark on the plugs or is the distributer going south on me ? I dont think that plugs are bad, any help fellas ?

How old is the pickup coil? I'm going through a similar problem, except I've also got this ****ty rebuilt alternator that keeps half dying on me, so I've got to get it to actually die or wait until someone I know at the store can warranty it for me

I had my module go out a few weeks ago, and now the car will not get fuel when warm. I'm going to replace the pickup coil tomorrow and see what happens. I'm sure everything else is fine.

When my car wouldnt start I replaced the pickup coil. I though for sure that was it since it was in real bad shape and the wires were all cracked and ****. Well that wasnt it. Ended up it was the coil. I didnt even check that till i had replaced the module and pickup because the coil was a 2 month old hyperjunk.

I just tested the pickup coil, and it was within spec, however the plugs are pretty saturated with gas, probbably from setting the fuel pressure to high, do i need to replace my new plugs, or can i clean them somehow, pulling them is going to be a bitch, so if i dont need to then i wont, but there all probbably saturated, whats the best course of action ?

Im having some of the same problems. I replace the coil with a msd unit, added a accel module. the cap and rotor button is good, the wires are ok, and I cleaned the plugs.

I think it is out of time, I will try to retime it for the 3rd or 4th time.

But I have not changed the pickup coil. Is this my problem. The car was fine before I did a few mods. Then I got it started, it idled ruff, and wouldnt take gas. I replace the module and retimed it. Drove it around and was fine. I shut it off and tried to restart it a few days latter, and it would not start.

I have tried advancing and retarding the time, and still it just cranks over, but wont start.

I need help before I shoot the damn thing.
