I need to sell the 305 tuned port injection engine with 5 speed manual transmission both have 67000 miles on them and they are in perfect condition. I've been offered $750 already.

That's in the ballpark. It depends on where you are, how plentiful they are there, what comes with it (ECM, fuel pump, wiring, etc.), whether you pull it or the buyer pulls it, etc.
Ask for $1000 and see what you can get.

Lets see 305... eh. A 5 speed manual tranny... good. Only 67,000 miles... awesome.
Little mileage, not the greatest engine, but it works, and a 5 speed that comes with it, nice. I say ask $1200. Thats my honest opinion. But asking questions on how much something should cost to possible customers just never works. You just have to decide yourself. I mean heck if I wanted it, I woulda said I'll take for $500, and make up some reason why any higher price would be un-reasonable.
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the replies as you might of guessed I don't really know alot about all this mechanical stuff, i had help selecting a engine and transmission and unlike a lot of people here i don't have the know how or tools to install the engine myself. I just needed to a ballpark figure on it's value so I don't get my pants pulled down. Thanks again.
