350 now what to do??
350 now what to do??
I am looking some advice guys.
I have a rod knock in my 305, so it is time to go.
I have a L98 short block waiting in the wings. What heads should I buy? I could just get iron L98 heads and rework them, but I would rather get aluminum. The only problem is that the Speed Density set up is not going to like any serious changes so I will need a prom made for me (which is a pain to get done right).
Should I just throw in the towel on the fuel injection and go to a carb?. I do not have enough money for a LT1 or LS1 and would rather keep the L98 so that the car looks original.

I would give up on the fuel injection and go with a carb setup. much easier to tune and modify and much less picky when it comes to sensors and such. fuel injection is great when it works right but it is really easy to mess up. carbs are much more reliable.

Never heard of carbs being more reliable than FI.
