Acceleration problems...PLEASE READ!

Ok I have had a few issues with my newly purchased GTA. It would not start without giving it quit a bit of gas. That ended up being the AFPR. Once that was replaced the start-up issue was solved. But then when accelerating it felt like there was a miss big time. It ended up being a spark plug. Got new plugs and went ahead and replaced distributor. Now it starts like new, and the acceration is definitely better. But from a stop it still feels like there is a hesitation. Almost a steady studder from about 1,000 to 2,500rpm. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in, when I initially press the pedal I feel this studder/hesitation. Higher RPMS seem to be better. What should I check for at this point? I am not very experienced, especially with a V8. Any responses would be a big help. Thanks in advance!
