SDPC Vortec TPI crate engine?????????
I just picked up the new CHP magizine and it has a SDPC vortec TPI crate engine in it. article says it makes 356HP and 415 flbs or torque. it uses the vortec heads and modified tpi base. no cams specs though. i have the caprice TBI 350 crate engine. i wonder what the difference in cams is. where the heck are they getting almost 400hp from.
Also, Jim Pace Warehouse claims I can get 300hp with a LT4 cam in the caprice 350 engine. I dought it. what do you all think
