Max Overbore for a 350

hey guys, i did a search for maximum overbore and didnt get the results i needed, so maybe u can tell me what the maximum overbore for a 350 is, i have motor plans in the future, i know u can make a 377 with a 350, and thats a .155 overbore, but would i be able to take it to 4.155 and be safe??

or is a 377 just a destroked 400 with a .030 bore?? im just goin by desktop dyno for the CI and stroke and bores for all this

For a production block anything over .060 is pretty much out of the question. A 377 is made with 3.480 (350) crank in a 4.155 (400 .030 over)bore.

Yeah, I remember my brother had a 350 that was bored out .120 over I believe, I'll have to recheck, but it's not normal to go that much. Again, I'm not positive but I believe that's what it was bored too.

.040 is my limit, if you wanted to make the holes bigger you might want to consider sleeves, or a 400 block
