Heater Core????????????

Ok...So yesterday I was driving my car around. Everything seemed to be working fine. I come back home go to sleep. Then I wake up this morning finding my passengers side carpet soaked with coolant. I was like WTF now. *&%$. A friend of mine said it could be my heater core. What do you guys think?

oh...and I raced some 5.0 with my AC/heater on accidentally. This keeps my engine cool. Possibilty of heater core breaking; if even that?

one more thing....can I still drive around without having nemore coolant leak inside, with no more usage of the heater?

Yep, it's the heater core. Some have to take the dash out, on my '86 there was just a small black panel under the pass dash that needed to be taken out. Lay some towels down, when you take it out as more coolant will leak.

By-pass the heater core on your car..........and yeah it is the heater core....

I see you live in California and i'm gonna guess you won't be needing it.......
