Whats the deal with the Converter lockup switch
Ok the tech board has a procedure for putting a switch on a jumper between a couple of terminas on the ALDL terminal that locks the converter in all gears except first. Yes, this is hard on the tranny, but If you only turn it on when racing you will probalbly be OK right? What do you all think? I go to the strip about once per month, will I be all right? Will it give me any advantage.?

Try it and see.
I've been tempted to try it, but with 180K miles on the stock trans, I've been a little hesitant.
