whats the right camshaft?

i have an 83 z28 with LG4(305) engine. ive been told that the cam in that is garbage...so which would be the right(or best) 1 for it?

Car: 1986 Sport Coupé

Engine: 305-4v

Transmission: 700R4 and TransGo2

Try the Crane PowerMax 260 or 266 (a little more duration but should have headers). The Comp XE 250 or 256 are nice too.

Of them all, if you are still relatively stock, go for the Crane 260.
