Best EXTERNAL Fuel Pump?

My LT1 Intake/406 is almost ready to go, and I am going to need an better fuel system than the stock TBI system I have now. I am searching for a fuel pump first. I had planned on getting an EXTERNAL Aeromotive A1000, but I have recently been notified that these pumps arent really meant to be on all the time, as it will be since my car is a daily driver. I've also heard that the SX and Paxton pumps are basically in the same boat. I looked at Weldon pumps, but I just dont have that kind of cash for just the pump. I REFUSE to get an in-tank pump, I never want to have to drop the tank for any reason, lol. I would appreciate it if you guys could give me your opinions on some of the pumps I listed, and give some suggestions on other ones I might want to check out. Thanks!

I currently run a Holley blue pump, but the Magna flow is also good.

I think you can, but its not the reccomended method. If you want an external pump, yet you still want to retain the stok hose routing, I think you are supposed to go with a pickup unit that was designed for the carbed early 80s f-bodies, which had an external, block mounted fuel pump.

even if you use both pumps, the tbi one only pumps like 15psi and tpi is more like 50 so the tpi pump will still be sucking through the tbi. i'm not saying you can't leave the tbi pump in because i dont know for sure but it's something to think about. i'm currently having the same problem cuz i have the stock lg4 in tank pump and was going to put an external tpi pump on but i figured rather than risk burning out the pump i'm going to replace the intank one, it is after all the right way to do it. and no, i won't be cutting a hole in the floor.

That Magna Flow pump looks nice, but its also a little pricey, but less than the Weldon. The Holley Blue Pump appears to only be for carbed applications (14psi). Thanks for the suggestions, I hadnt seen the MagnaFlow products till you mentioned them.

The link doesnt work for me. Do you have a part#? What brand? Not sure I want to trust anything from Autozone on my 406, plus I'll need a reliable fuel pump when I take the plunge and put a bit of juice on this puppy

Well if you buy the holley external fuel pump it will be this exact pump with there name and pricetag on it. The pump I tried to post was an 87 5 liter ford pickup, external pump.
