I was thinkin of puttin some Cam 2 into my car for an upcoming show, just to get the smell of it you know. Isn't it like 110 octane or something? This won't do any damage or anything will it? Besides to my wallet.
Will it make my car run any faster? Cause I know you only need a certain octane according to your compression.

if it's leaded it'll harm the cat, if it's leaded it's not legal for the street, i'd bet even if it's unleaded you aren't paying highway usage tax so that would be a bad thing, if you were ever to get caught. it'll hurt preformance because it's harder to light and doesn't produce any more heat as it burns.

cats are really not affected by lead.
Brain cells are.. but not cats.
Regarding other issues.
You should be able to get 99 unleaded from local race shops (and it is taxed bc its intended for autos). Its been around for a while. Unocal, sunoco, and many others have high octane unleaded.
Will it help, depends on what type of cranking compression you have and the advance curve. But, the combination in your sig really does not need anything more than about 93pump octane at most.
I "sometimes" use 100 leaded mixed 33-66percent with pump gas.
I was freaking out bigtime when I was in europe.. kept seeing pumps with 100octane. But its not research+motor/2 like is rated here. Its just the research octane numbre
