Car shakes, little acceleration

Last night I re-plugged my distributor wires on to the cap (I am pretty sure they in the right order), and now the car has hardly any acceleration and sounds like it is about to die on me when I put it into drive. The car is fine in idle, did I mess up the wiring? I looked in the Chilton's book and the wiring was TOTALLY different than how it was running, and now I'm lost. My car: 92 Camaro RS 3.1.

if it didn't do this before you switched wires then it's a good bet you got them on wrong. next time do them one at a time, it's a lot harder to mess up that way. i just looked in my manual to be sure since i've never worked on 60* v6 and it shows the firing order as 123456 and the cylinder arangement as odd on the right and even on the left, totally oppsiate of a SBC. i'd bet this manual is wrong and the odd side is the left and even is the right. if you by chance are using the same manual that would be your problem.
