How bad is it that i installed a non-egr cam into my car that has egr? I kind of expected a little more of a benefit in performance from the new cam because it is so much bigger than stock. Hopefully i didn't screw anything up too bad

Cams don't have EGR, and therefore it cant't be left off.
The Performer cam is a non-performer compared to designs that have come out in the last 30 years or so. It's not too much cam for your motor. It's not too far different from the L69 cam, except the lobe separation is less.
A far better choice for the rest of your car would be a Comp XE256.
I hope when you got the TES that you got them for some other application besides the LG4... if you got the LG4 one, you preserved the drinking straw in the system, which is the tiny Y-pipe.
I would suspect that there is something wrong with your engine or car, it would seem; a 5-speed L69 Z28, like mine was, did almost a 15 flat off the showroom floor. A box-stock LG4 car was usually not too far from the 15s, 16.2 or 16.3 was pretty typical. Yours really should be better than that.
