air in fuel system?

I posted this on the tpi board and had no replies.
I just got back from vacation and my car sat for 7 days. When i went to turn it on, i heard a loud pulsating sound comming from my fuel lines??? Does anyone know what is up with that?
Is there a way to bleed the fuel lines of air and why would air get into the fuel system if that is the problem???

if you have air in the lines just start the engine it'll fix it's self. i doubt if air is going to get in unless you've had the system open, since it's a sealed system.
