what are the symptons of running to much fuel pressure??

hey everyone, I just installed a dual snorkel air cleaner and adjusted the fuel pressure. the car seems to be a bit faster through all of the rpm's but once in awhile when im doing about 80km/h and I floor it, the car waits about a second before taking off. When I try again the car takes off fine with quick throttle response. What would be doing this? too much fuel pressure??
thanks!
Jesse

Possibly...have you reset your TPS and IAC lately? If not you may also give that a try. I reset mine about six months ago, man what a difference that made for my throttle response!
