MAF Code Please Help

I have an 88 TPI 350 Iroc Z I have been getting a code 34 for months and months I took it to my mechanic when it first started and the scan tool he used said my computer and prom were bad cause it couldn't communicate with the computer so I replaced them . Then I replaced the MAF, the relay, the plug for the relay, and the plug for the MAF. I still get the code even after I reset the computer. I did pass the Texas treadmill emissions test today even though I had to go down to the muffler shop and replace my 2 yr old high flow cat. with a new one to get it to pass. Could a dirty cat throw a code 34, I have not tried to reset the computer since I got the cat replaced.

What I Replaced
computer
prom
MAF
relay
plug for relay
plug for MAF
O2 sensor
replaced and adjusted TPS
cat.

The cat isnt going to have anything to do with the MAF. The 34 in your car is probably a vacuum leak of some sort. Check the vacuum lines and make sure the connection from the MAF to the TB has no holes or leaks.

Oh, yeah, maybe the IAC is stuck open (do TPIs have IAC?)... try posting this on the TPI board, they'll know what it is..
