Does anyone know of a good shop in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that sells good rebuilt 350 short blocks? Thanks for the help.

That is exactly what I will not do. I learned my lesson the last time I did that. I called a shop in the yelloe pages that had a nice big ad. I took my block and heads there to be machined and after I got them back a started putting my engine together, I started noticing that they did not machine the block correctly and they had just cleaned the heads and gave them back to me. As soon as I found this out, I went back to the shop to find it closed up and all the equiptment gone. After that experience, I will only go to a place that others have been to and had good work, that is why I asked the question in the first place.

 

you can try www.allchevyengines.com This guy is name Joe I believe. I bought my 406 long block from him. I think he is in that area. He has a list of complete engines on his website but I am sure he would build you whatever you want.
