Motor combination

I just put in my first engine into my 91 Z28 1LE. Its as follows
350 bored 30 over ->balanced rotating assembly
crank 10 under->balanced and polished
Accel 58 mm throttle body
Edeblbrock runners
Edelbrock baseplate
Accel 24lb injectors
Crane 1.6 gold roller rockers
Comp Cams hardened push rods
Comp Cams hydraulic roller lifters
Comp CAms hydraulic roller cam(#08-410-8)
Edelbrock Performers(64cc-->2.02"/1.60")
Federal Mogel hyperutectic full floating pistons
Eagle H-beam rods
Moly rings
Clevitte bearings
Cloyes double roller chain
Corvette hi-press. oil pump(M55-A)
MSD coil/distributor/6AL box
Edelbrock ceramic coated headers
3" no cat exhaust-->2 chamber Flowmaster
rebuilt Corvette 700R4 with B&M 2600 stall
Transgo stage 2 shift kit
3.23:1 gears
K&N air filters
All ARP
A few non important small things I cant think of at the moment. Anyways the timing is stock at 8* and I have a Holley AFPR still to put in and thinking maybe gears and a custo chip. Anyways the motor runs good and is strong but Im a little disapointed with it. Is there something Im missing or a part in this combo that doesnt match? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks.

Oh by the way the machine shop said its got about 9.8:1 compression but said that changes a little when the aluminum heads expand.

Looks to me like an overall well-matched combo. It should pull pretty hard.

2 things:

It will get better as the motor breaks in, so don't totally give up hope yet.

You need some chip programming!!!! Your whole setup is massively different from stock as far as what the computer is seeing and having to do. It won't ever work right with the stock fuel and spark curves. Get into PROM burning, a "custom chip" never works right. Glenn and Traxion and some of the other guys on that board can point you in the right direction.

The motor has 3000km on it and it is slowly feeling better. How do I go about getting a custom made chip? I tried my own hypertech chip that I bought a month ago and had big problems so I took it back. Apparantly my car has a 1992 ECM in it and thats what my problem was. They want me to try another chip but I would rather have one custom made. Im having problems with the store I bought that chip from. They dont want to give my money back or a store credit. If I cant do an exchange is it possible that the hypertech chip be re-burnt?
