Can I run a PJ gear drive with a hydraulic cam? I am thinking of getting a Comp Extreme energy cam.

Also, I am probably going to get Dart iron Eagle heads good enough for .600 lift, so what type of XE cam Should I get. Summit doesn't have them listed...or will their reps help me with that one. I want to get into the 12s.

Also, Would I need a better intake than a performer? I was thinking a weiland stealth...or do I need a Victor Jr.

I'm runnin a PJ Quiet GD with the Comp 268XE cam with no probs.

I think the Victor JR, would be not a good match for your combo.

I don't think you can beat the Stealth, that's what I have. Power from idle-6800 or so.

I am going to wait this one out and hope no one grabs em. If they don't I'll offer him 400 for them. Would they go good with the stealth and Comp Cam? Would my car get into the 12s with these heads and that cam? I am shooting for low 12s by December (when its cold and i can't hook ).

I'm no head expert, but I don't see those bein too bad. Compression might be a little high if I'm right, just means no 87 octane for ya. I might be wrong though, I'll let the experts handle this one.
