i know this guy who has a 350 block with vortec heads out of a 97 or so tahoe, would this be a good deal if i could get it for about 350-400. the motor has spun a bearing but he said its rebuildable, i would definately check it out better but what do you guys think?

 

350.00 is about right for a 350 vortec core. Even if the crank/rod is junk you could sell the heads,valvetrain,etc and get your money back.
