Oil Pan / DipStick Question
For my engine build up its using an older, better, block, but its going in my 86 T/A, do I get an oil pan with the dip stick on the side my car had it originally, or what the engine had originally, or dont it matter, I just dont know if it would hit something.
Did our cars have it on the driver or passenger side originally (86 T/A) Motor is all ready out and apart so I cant check

awwww sh**, how would I figure out what it had, I know its a 4 bolt main, 1 peice rear main seal block.
measure from the flat rails of the oil pan to the depth of the semi circle where it fits the rear and front and note the location of the dip stick hole. any oil pan for a one piece rear seal would work

not to be an ***, but how hard is it to just look at the engine, even if its out of the car, you can still tell, seeing as how the dipstick passes through the edge of the block....
