Afr's And Different Spark Plugs???

i'm now in the process of choosing the spark plugs for my new afr 190's and figure i would ask what types of experiences you all have had with your afr's......

they reccomend acfr3ls but i would like to get some bosch platinums or eqevilent.....

what types of probs, or luck have you had with your selections???

I run the AC's they recommend.I can't run any platinum's because of my addiction to the bottle.I run AC fr5ls on the street, then when I am going to the strip(which has been a while) I run 2 heat ranges colder.

Hey Mkos1980..what made you run the FR5LS?I went to them due to the FR3LS seemed to be way to cold of a plug for my motor on the street.Just curious to see why you are running them.TIA

i use the fr3ls, no problems. Also the AC's have a slightly shorter insulator VS champ, or motorcraft, so with headers it helps a little on the plug changes

hey

the reason i asked is because i had bought brand new bosch platinums for my stock l98, and i never put them in....

when i tired to use em on my afrs, they didn't even go all the way into the combustion chamber!!!!

there afr 190's w 68cc chambers and l98 plug angle....

are there any real short header type plug like they reccomend that will fit the afr's???

i will be running hedman long tubes and need clearence!!!

any suggestions????
