Motor is sputtering?!? Why?

Ok this problem occured last week. I was driving to school and i noticed at 1500-2000 rpm the car shook bad but soon as it gets past 2k it smooths right out and gets alot more power. I noticed its the engine shaking. It just jerks back and forth some until it gets past 2k. It only does it sometime at some throttle position and all the time sometimes. The first day it was doing it I threw in a new ignition module and i thought that fixed it but after cleaning out my engine bay (used a wet rag maybe got things alittle wet) the problem came back. I dont think its the module this time. I replaced my CTS because it was broken and that helped alittle. What could it be? dead plug or something maybe or maybe the TPS?

When I had burnt plug wires in the past, it would sputter upon acceleration, but once goin at highway speeds it wasn't real noticable.

i just dont see why it would only be noticably between those rpms? maybe I have so weak plugs. My valves seals are getting pretty bad so maybe just a couple cyclinders spark plugs are crapping out and they both fire near each other at that rpm or something like that???

wires are good. They were a custom set i had to cut myself but they worked to well for to long to be screwed up now. My rotor is fine but my cap is alittle corroded...gonna take some sandpaper to that and i guess rent a air compressor so i can fix my valve seals. I have new plugs already but i dont wanna screw then up by putting them on the car when its getting oil in the chamber.
I really dont think thats the problem tho.

Do you have strong spark to all cylinders? Are all cylinders firing?

im not sure but the car runs perfect except for the sputtering at certain rpms...once it gets out of that area it seriously runs way stronger than it ever has. could it be the TPS??
