If you're talking about the ones going into the water passage near the thermostat housing, yes, they are for temp sensors and heater hoses. You can get plugs for them at home depot or any auto parts store.

Try to get the hex recess pipe plugs. The standard square headed pipe plugs you'll get from Home Depot and other lameass places like that are going to look like a real amateur job, which is fine if this is going on a *****. They may also present an obstruction to other devices, like the water outlet, fuel fittings, linkages, etc. Hex recess plugs will mount flush and look cleaner.

Doesn't ANYBODY go to real hardware stores any more?

amature job

ah, its alright if it looks cheezy, i just want something that works right now. ill worry about looks when i have the time (and the money). what kind of a temperature sensor do i buy? my stock one will obviously not fit, and what about the other 2 holes? im haveing trouble hooking up all of my hoses so that it makes a solid circulation. do i have to use one of those holes? why would the "average" guy need to use these holes?

Which temperature sensor are you talking about? You can get a bushing so that you can use a stock temperature sensor in one of those holes. The holes in the manifold should be 1/2 NPT and your temperature sensor will most likely be 3/8 NPT.

temp sensor

how much would a new temp sensor cost that would fit perfectly?
man, ive been to the home depot two times today already just to buy some metal fixtures that would screw on to my fuel pressure regulator. but surpriseingly they sold the exact ones i needed, plus some cool teflon tape stuff to seal it with.
