roller rocker install for centerbolt. HELP!!

I am having issues with my 1991 z28 350. I needed a new head gasket shen I first bought the car and want to install roller rockers. These "mechanics" could not install them They tried tall valve covers and stated the heard taping inside, those were cranes. I have now gotten comp cams 1417-16, with 2 1/2" tall valve covers and have gone to a new mechanic. The heads are aftermarket and I don't know which brand they were on when I bought the car. The only thing I noticed is one valve is higher than the other. Suguestions please!!!!! Thanks for any info

Sounds to me like the first thing you need to do is figure out what heads are in your car. The next thing is to stop trying to mod it until you know what will work with what's already there.

Your description sounds like Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, but don't take my guess as anything more than a guess.

We need to know what brand and model number of the aluminum heads to tell you what will work with them.

I think I have got it!!!!

I bought the car used so I had no knowledge of it before, but I think I have visually figured it out. They are Sportman II heads I have not gotten a good look at trick flow but the sportsman heads look Identical to them. twisted wedge heads are for fords I have a z28. This car has been raced there is a logo on the window. Anymore info would be appreciated. Thanks
